Malaika Morris is a Baby Signs® Independent Certified Instructor serving Manatee and Sarasota Counties. She has a B.S. in Physiology and has sought her M.P.H. in Health Education. Malaika has gained teaching experience through her positions as a Diabetes Health Educator, Health Services Representative teaching STD/HIV education, a tutor, and a homeschool educator. She has worked with children as a Girl Scouts leader, youth leader at church and a youth shelter, and through volunteering at a day care center.
Malaika became interested in the Baby Signs® Program after attending a demonstration class while she was pregnant with her son, Moses. She immediately knew this was the career she wanted because it allowed her to fulfull her passion of educating children in a fun environment while allowing her to stay home with her son. Through the Baby Signs® Program, Malaika hopes to enrich the lives of families throughout her community.
